Dear GYA, You know what you need? I think you need a little holiday cheer, my friend. Am I right? Hey, I've got just the thing -- why don't we go see that fantastic Donnie & Marie Osmond Christmas show? I hear it's just what the doctor ordered! I mean, I assume it's really good because everyone keeps talking about it. - Not Donny Osmond---

Nice try, Donny Osmond. Relax, I think your show is gonna sell out no matter what -- no need for shameless "anonymous" plugs. Here are some options for today, though ... including your show:

As previously mentioned, the Donny & Marie: A Salt Lake Christmas show will be going down at Abravenel Hall. Throw on your turtleneck and come celebrate a holiday homecoming with beloved locals Donny & Marie Osmond.

Beatlemania is happening whether you like it or not at The Egyptian Theatre. Beatlemania is a nostalgic musical experience that will take audiences on a Magical Mystery Tour. The show starts off innocently but then takes the audience through the chaotic changes of the 1960s. Showtime is at 8 p.m.

DJ Finale Grande will be holding it down at Zest Kitchen & Bar tonight. The eclectic local plays a mixture of everything from funk and soul to golden-era hip-hop. The doors open at  9.

A few more options for tonight:

- DJ's Apres Ski and Chase One2 will be performing at Gracie's, starting at 9.

- Ballet West's The Nutcracker is happening at The Capitol Theatre, at 2 and 7.

- Rock band Riva Rebels will be onstage at Burt's Tiki Lounge. Doors open at 9.
