Dear GYA, I have been sharing eCards for so long now that I no longer know how to express original thought or feelings ... unless, of course, it's written on an eCard. It's actually gotten to the point where my friends no longer "like" anything I post. I'm starting to think that because of my eCard-sharing addiction, I'm all alone on the Internet. Anything happening today that will inspire a really, really good eCard? - Nancy Yorkington, Magna---

Nancy, You are absolutely all alone on the Internet. There's a scientifically proven formula that says that for every eCard you share, you a loss exactly 100 friends on Facebook. Damn it, stop sharing eCards. Here's what's on for today:

Experimental indie-band Caveman will be on stage at Urban Lounge this evening. Pure Bathing Culture and Mighty Sequoyah will be providing local support. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $10.

Death-metal band Nile will be performing at In The Venue tonight. The show starts at 7. Tickets are $20.

Portland-based emcee Sapient will be on the mic at The Woodshed this evening. Local rapper talent Burnell Washburn will warm things up. The show starts at 9.
