City Weekly’s 23rd annual Best of Utah issue is not only one of largest we’ve ever published, but also the most voted-upon: Over 4,000 of you spoke up and told us what’s good in your neighborhood. You submitted votes in nearly 100 categories (those winners denoted by the “Readers’ Choice” tag), then we added a few hundred local favorites of our own. Throw them all together, shake vigorously and behold: Best of Utah 2012.

On the cover, you have Readers’ Choice winners Gina Barberi (of Best Radio Show, Radio From Hell, and Best Radio Station, X96) and David James (Best Sports Reporter, also of Best TV News Station KUTV 2) rolling at Brewvies Cinema Pub (your pick for Best Cheap Date) with some of Ogden’s Junction City Roller Dolls (our staff pick for Best Roller Derby League). Inside, a new feature for ’12: Faves & Raves, wherein we ask a handful of BOU winners past and present what they like locally.
