Can You Buy a Sense of Humor?

A big problem with so-called conservatives is that they completely lack a sense of irony—like the fact that although they are working people, they imagine that they are capitalists who are better than the rest of us. They think they are on the inside, and they continually vote for their own slavery ... now, that’s irony!! Someone needs to buy a sense of humor ... oh, wait. You mean, you can’t buy one of those? Damn it!

They end up having to keep looking serious while doing the same stupid s—t because they are too narrow and dull to be able to back off, laugh at themselves and try something new! That’s what “conservative” means: not willing to try something new. This is not a very adaptive stance for any animal that wants to survive.
