Go To Mo’s Comedy Shows
Standup night at Mo’s Neighborhood Grill (358 S. West Temple) is always funny—because even if the comics aren’t humorous on purpose, laughing at others’ pain is always a gut buster. Last time Club Matters stopped by, the club was hosting some Los Angeles-based comedians, along with SLC regulars, and it was a hoot. Portland comedians will be stopping by to join regular comedians Levi Rounds and Cody Eden on Saturday, Oct. 16, and they promise equal amounts of hilarity. Track down Portland’s Whitney Stroud, Shane Torres and Jimmy Newstetter online in advance and see if it’s worth the $5. Local openers guarantee that you get the most laughs for your buck, regardless.

W Lounge Goes Bananas: Sammy Bananas
Just around the corner from Mo’s—in the same building, no less—W Lounge is the best club in town to dance for the seriously fleet-footed, and Stir Fridays is the new night for it. Mr. Bananas is coming to town again and is sure to please on Friday, October 15.

Weekends Are Still Decadent
Friday and Saturday nights at Green Street (602 E. 500 South) are always fun, packed and party-rific (that’s a City Weekly Club Matters copywritten term, thanks). Decadance Night starts off Fridays with a bass rumble and bang featuring DJ Sayo upstairs, live music downstairs and $3 vodka Red Bulls. Saturdays keep the weekend moving with $5 Bud cans with a shot of Jim Beam, world famous DJ Erockalypse upstairs, and music from DNA and Blues Dart downstairs. Text GREENST to 84700 for info about special VIP hookups, entry and show information.

Halloween Heads Up
Starting next week, Club Matters will start bringing you updates about the hottest Halloween parties in town, so keep your eyes here.
