Go Wild! As much as I hated to see Avenues Bakery close, the Wild Grape bistro, which recently opened in Avenues Bakery’s old location at 481 E. South Temple, has already created a bit of buzz. Warm, friendly ambiance and service, nice wine-by-the-glass selection, killer lamb burgers, Angus beef sliders, fresh escolar. White (truffle) Xmas: If you’re still looking for the perfect holiday gift, consider Cristiano Creminelli’s white truffle salami.
