  • The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises
Retired Batman (Christian Bale) returns to save Gotham City—and gets his bat-ass handed to him by Bane (Tom Hardy). Can Batty and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) stop Bane without causing billions in property damages? No. (Warner Bros.)

Eastbound & Down: Season 3
Kenny Fucking Powers (Danny McBride) is back in ’Merica to reclaim his baseball career as a pitcher for the Myrtle Beach Mermen, and only a Russian upstart (Ike Barinholtz) and massive booze/drug/ego problems stand in his way. Go, KFP! (HBO)

The Odd Life of Timothy Green
A childless couple (Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Garner—the go-to for playing barren housewives) grows a plant-boy (CJ Adams) in their backyard dirt, and everyone apparently just considers it “odd.” Get ready to bawl your stupid eyes out. (Disney)

Silent Night
In the sequel to 1984 slasher flick Silent Night, Deadly Night, a small-town sheriff (Malcolm McDowell!) and his deputy (Jaime King!!) take on a maniacal Santa who’s slaughtering those he’s deemed “naughty.” Go, Santa! (Anchor Bay)

V/H/S
Criminals searching for a rare videotape run across a dead body and piles of VHS cassettes—instant horror anthology! Strangely enough, not one of these terrifying stories involves a childless couple growing a plant-boy in the backyard. (Magnolia)
