At Great Harvest Bread Co., they've been baking healthy, whole grain breads for three decades, using five basic wholesome ingredients: freshly ground whole wheat flour, filtered water, fresh yeast, salt, and "something sweet" -- usually honey. Along with selling all varieties of fresh whole-grain breads, at Great Harvest Bread Co. kids and parents are invited to tour one of their bakeries. It's a great educational experience for both kids and adults and a perfect introduction to healthy, wholesome eating.
