Halloween Cover Band Show
You get to be someone else and let your inhibitions loose each Halloween, so why can’t your favorite local bands? Actually, there are a ton of tribute shows this weekend; this is just one of the more eclectic—ranging from hardcore to crooner. There will be Cannons as Fugazi, Reviver as Botch, Accidente as Jesus Lizard and Jesus or Genome as Elliot Smith. The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, 9 p.m., $5

The Witches’ Ball
This voodoo cauldron has a pinch of all sorts of entertainment varieties to concoct one wicked witches’ brew. The evening’s lineup includes Hathor School of Dance Belly Dancers, Beauté Dérangée, Lunar Collective & Crew, DJ Dances With Wolves, DJ Red Siren and DTAB. Hallow’s Eve Scary-oke
