Chicken is marinated for 24 hours, and then smoked over cherry wood for six more. Popular to-go items include barbecue sandwiches; sides such as kielbasa, hot wings and potato salad; and barbecue platters featuring baby back ribs, smoked beef brisket, chopped smoked pork, smoked chicken and pork spare ribs with Joe’s savory dry rub. For dessert, take home a mud pie (original or peppermint) or hot-fudge sundae. Most orders are ready in 15 minutes or less.
