“Utah-shaped Black Flag bars seem pretty self explanatory, but unlike most of my tattoos, this one has taken on sentimental meaning. I moved to Provo from upstate New York when I was a kid. Being an awkward, antisocial person by nature—and not being Mormon—I got into punk rock and hardcore. Since then, playing hardcore has given me the opportunity to see the world. And through all of it, I’ve realized that Utah is a pretty amazing place. Not to mention Damaged is one of the greatest records of all time.”
