Sunday-Night Church at Piper Down There seems to be a dearth of hustle and bustle on the night of the Sabbath in Salt Lake City. Fortunately for avid private club fans, Tony “The Reverend” Burgess holds a karaoke church service every Sunday night at Piper Down. The whole crowd gets in on it, including the bartenders, as they hoist their microphones—and beer glasses—in holy karaoke communion. If your Sundays seem duller than dishwater lately, just put on your singing boots and get the Good Word from the Reverend (who does an excellent Freddie Mercury, by the way).
