Robin Konie and Arwen Rogers present a onenight, dance concert with pieces that range from comical to dramatic, exhibiting the multifaceted nature of contemporary dance.

The show includes Roger’s work “Rebuff,” a captivating solo that mixes dance and kung fu to demonstrate both the strength and vulnerability of women. In contrast, Konie’s comical piece “The Torment of Mickey” is described as a “dynamic dance of extreme emotion” as it “considers the bubbling tensions of beloved characters.”

The night also features works by guest choreographers Marney Schaumann and William Lu as well as musical performances by Stephen Anderson, Xiao Ma and the eclectic Jon Scoville, an artist heavily influenced by cutting-edge world music.

With varying displays of emotions and messages, You Are Here offers you a number of good reasons to be here.
