Ruskie’s Red Dawn: Depot Does
The Russians are coming(!) back to The Depot (400 W. South Temple) for Red October, Russian Nights Volume 5, which will feature the return of DJ Dmitry Ko on Oct. 14; local Timone will open.

Partying With Pirates: PartyBus Nation Tours
PartyBus Nation—formerly PartyBus Utah—has fun themed parties every weekend in October. The first was a superhero-themed event, and this Friday, Oct. 14, is the Dirty Pirate Party Bus Pub Tour—which will be everything you hope it will be. There will be prizes for best pirate costume and the bus will stop at several bars. It’s a BYOR (Bring Your Own Rum) event which means you can keep all your liquor cool inside the handy under-seat coolers when not sitting at the plank at the bar. The pub tour starts at 9 p.m. at Trails, then sails to Lucky 13, Piper Down and Club Allure. Tickets for the whole shebang are $20—cheaper than a DUI—and more fun than a cab. The bus will even drop you off at home. Reservations are required, via Facebook, or by calling 1-800-287-0153.

Gracie’s Gets SupaFly
Gracie’s
(326 S. West Temple) is one of the classiest bars in town and has a number of amenities: an outdoor bar on the upstairs patio, heatlamps on both patios for the fall chill, a game room and wood accents all around. It also has live DJs on Fridays and Saturdays and a new night called SupaFly Sundays celebrating the best funk and soul from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.—what better way to start your workweek?

Jam Turns Three: Happy B-day
Club Jam
(751 N. 300 West), in the Marmalade District, is one of the better gay bars in town. And its roster of fun, featuring events like underwear karaoke and beer pong with several willing young bucks, proves it. Celebrate their birthday month and tell them Club Matters sent you.
