City Weekly asked Josh Edwards, manager of Kristauf’s Social Club, how Utah’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control affects the martini business:

Utah’s liquor laws are framed as a public-safety issue, but that stance is sort of contradictory considering the state doesn’t offer many alternatives to driving home drunk. You should be able to take TRAX to Sandy after 1 a.m. They could even charge $3 or $4 and people would still use it. That would really make things safer.
