Imagine a future in which the United States of America is no longer a unified nation. Each region has broken away in independence. On the West Coast, the Republic of the Pacific; in the South, Dixie rises once again; and, up north, Canada has annexed Michigan. City Weekly asked Milo Anderson, a sous chef at the Broadway Bistro, what would happen to Utah:

They would probably put a wall around the state. Then they would expand their Vatican. There would be no drinking and no smoking. I think they’d bring out the old Mormon Militia. They’d annex surrounding states like Idaho and Wyoming and re-create Deseret.{::NOAD::}
