Tomorrow morning I'll be hopping on a plane to head down to Austin for the annual South by Southwest Music & Media Conference where myself and Randy Harward will report back to you with reviews, updates and photos from the BBQ-fueled music orgy. Joining the more than 1,500 bands from across the globe: Utah's own Eagle Twin representing Southern Lord Records and Location Location who applied and were accepted by SXSW organizers as a group to watch.

I'm still trying to wrap my ahead around the five days of live music, but a few acts I've penciled in to see are as follows: Heartless Bastards, Dan Auerbach, Roky Erikson w/ Black Angels, J. Tillman, Handsome Furs, N.A.S.A., St. Vincent, PJ Harvey & John Parish, Jason Lytle, Asobi Seksu, Tricky, Devo, School of Seven Bells, Cursive, Kid Sister, Young Widows, Elvis Perkins in Dearland ... and who knows what Randy has on deck.
