Free Speech Returns

In the midst of the biggest marathon of the year and the Record Store Day events across the city, a reopening almost got lost in the shuffle. Former Sugarhouse resident the Free Speech Zone has declared tomorrow their official reopening in downtown SLC, and to celebrate their throwing an all-day bash. Kicking off at Noon events will include a trading circle, children's activities and when it finally gets dark... fire spitting! Not to mention live music throughout by The Astrals, KJ & DJ Simpson, Saint VII, Sub Polar and Kill Joy. So drop by their new location tomorrow (411 South 800 East), donate a plant for the new place, and rejoice in their return. Wanna know more about the Free Speech Zone? Check out my interview with owner Raphael from February when they were getting setup in their new place.
