ABC 4's Chris Vanocur is pretty much the go-to guy when it comes to news stories involving booze--but what about this piece from Wednesday about the possibility of a Trader Joe's coming to Utah? Halfway through, it's made clear that a TJ's in Zion would be likely "dry," free of all that fancy (and cheap) hooch that's made the chain so damned popular--and don't give me any of that "organic foods" and "alternative products" bullshit; that's not what you're hauling back over the state line from California, Trader Joe's fans. Also note ABC 4's growing Facebook fascination--even though I still can't be "Friends" with FB-absent anchor Karen Carlson ... mrrrow!
