You can write it down.

June 16, 2009. That’s the day I said “I guarantee, the Philadelphia Eagles will NOT win the Super Bowl in the next 2 years.

Donovan F. McNabb, QB for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Some people (me) say that the “F” stands for “failure.”

There are a plethora of reasons, but let’s just go with losing 4 NFC Championship games and 1 Super Bowl.

Oh ya, and last year when a regular season game ended in a tie, he said that he didn’t know games could end in a tie.

This is your QB… Your leader… The guy who should have the highest IQ on your team.

For the most part McNabb is universally criticized for not being able to win the big game, among other things.

Mostly, because he has lost every big game he has ever played.

So what do the Eagles do? Give him a raise.

Why? Because he was going to hold out if they didn’t.

And I don’t mean a little kid raise. He received a 5 million dollar raise. Because $20 million doesn’t get you a Super Bowl, but maybe $25 million will? Well, according to Mr. F that is now the goal.

“In this next two years, our focus is to win the Super Bowl.”

What was your focus the last 8 years?

Oh, that’s right, losing NFC Championships and Super Bowls.

Good job, then.

Mission accomplished.

Maybe the F stands for “Bush.”
