Having screwed his way through Hollywood in the first two seasons of Showtime's Californication, where's writer Hank Moody (David Duchovny) going to find some untapped, er, inspiration now? College, of course. ---

In Season 3 of the sex-soaked series (premiering Sunday, Sept. 27), Hank stumbles across a new gig as a college professor and suddenly finds himself balls-deep in nubile coeds ... in every sense. All this, plus guest turns by Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen!) and Rick Springfield? Season 3 might raise Californication back to the bar set by Season 1--because face it, despite a valiant effort by self-destructive rock producer Lew Ashby (I was really hoping for a spin-off, but alas ...), Season 2 felt a wee bit limp.

Going by the Season 3 preview trailer below, it looks like Hank will be an equal-opportunity man-'ho for students and their mothers. And you thought he had no morals ...
