From Lidsore To Sartain, With Love

Local releases to be had this week, two new CDs pick up the pace from last month. --- First up, Payson's metal rockers Lidsore will be playing a show over at Mo's Bar & Grill tonight as they release their new self-titled album. Not much to be said on this one as I can't even find an album cover, let alone a track listing. So those of you into metal are most likely walking into the unknown. Backing them up tonight will be a full deck of metal including Penalty Of Treason, Arsenic Addiction, A Balance Of Power and Ravings Of A Madman. Just $5 starting at 9PM.

But if you're up for a different gear of rock, shift down and make your way over to The Urban Lounge as Will Sartain releases his latest solo album, For Love. Sounds mighty fine from the tracks I've heard so far. If you miss out, don't fret, Sartain will be doing a second show as part of Kilby Fest next week, but we'll chat about that later. Along side him tonight will be Casey Prestwood & The Burning Angels, and returning from a western US tour, Band Of Annuals. Just $6 starting around 10PM on Saturday.

Get out, love music, buy local.
