We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

Scum Rises To The Top... But For How Long?

We've all crashed parties at some time in our lives, but these two have brought crashing and scamming to new heights.  Ladies and gentlemen let's welcome the Salahi's.....I don't know, do you?---

The minor blurb about the White House party crashers, Tareq Salahi and his skanky wife who talked their way past White House security to attend a State dinner for dignitaries from India was funny in and of itself.  Apparently these two have been  scamming, cheating, lying, dodging creditors, neighbors and the sheriff for some time in their effort to become celebrities in their own right.  The latest story has Tareq trying to pay off a landscaper's bill by giving him an expensive watch.  The bill for was for some $2K and change and when the landscaper tried to sell the watch he was told it was a fake worth about a hundred bucks.

If you want to read all the bizarre antics of these two just google their name.  They have been trying to get on a reality show being produced by the Bravo network called, "The Real Housewives of Washington D.C.".  What thest two have done to theier own families and neighbors would make a reality show of it's own.  They are simply grifters who have no conscience when it comes to making themselves out to be whatever they think will get them close to real celebreties of any kind.  They started out from his wealthy family which he has now made into paupers.  He is battling his mother over her property that must be sold to pay off his ever growing debts and the lavish houses, cars and other possessions they had acquired through dubious means have been repossessed.  If these two ever do show up at a Congressional hearing it should be televised on pay-per-view.  I'd watch.
