More Hatch Hanukkah Hilarity on The Tonight Show!

"Eight Days of Hannukah," the latest song by songwriter/Senator Orrin Hatch, may turn out to be his biggest hit yet. At least it's been getting more publicity than any of his previous tunes.

Last week's Mark Leibovich write-up in The New York Times -- in which Hatch wistfully revealed, "I feel sorry I'm not Jewish sometimes" -- must have launched Cheerios through many a reader's nose. Everybody sing along:
---

Eight days of Hanukkah,
Come let's celebrate.
Eight days of Hanukkah,
Let's celebrate tonight, Hey!

And, since then, it seems the only way is up for Utah's elder statesman. Even NBC's The Tonight Show got in on the fun!
