Utah on Notice: Big Love Renewed for Season 5



HBO polygamy drama (sorry, Draa-ma!) Big Love has been picked up for fifth season, expected to begin airing early 2011. Reached for comment, the state of Utah sighed, "Oh, fuckin' great ..." ---

The currently-airing Season 4 of Big Love (Sundays, natch) is tracking 13-percent higher ratings than last year; the January season premiere was up 49 percent. This season, multitasking Sandy Mormon Bill Henrickson is running for the Utah Senate--what if he wins? Will Big Love become a political drama in Season 5, like The West-Expansion Wing With a Pantry? Or go more comedic, like Parks & Recreation & Sacrament?
