We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Where Are They Now: The 1987 SF Aerobics Champions

Big news: Andre, Troy and Jeffrey (aka "The Bad Boys") are back!

I can't believe I missed it, but the San Francisco team entry in the 1987 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championships made a reunion appearance on Tosh.0 a few weeks ago.

For those unfamiliar, Tosh.0 is Comedy Central's Soup-y survey of YouTube videos, except instead of Joel McHale, the part of the arrogant, snarky host is portrayed by Daniel Tosh. Evidently, whenever he's not introducing vomit videos or ridiculing unattractive people, Tosh is contractually obligated to claim he's not gay at least once per episode. This episode, the number of not-gay claims spiked to an all-time high -- I didn't count, but Tosh must have been "not gay" at least 20 times.

Still, at least his producers organized this reunion of the oh-so-gay and oh-so-'80s aerobics team -- and for that, we thank him.
