Good in the Hood Fundraiser

Local nonprofit Good in the Hood is hosting a charity carnival in Holladay this weekend to help cover the medical expenses of young Chart Meredith, a local boy who has suffered debilitating injuries from a tragic car accident.---

Now in a wheelchair and with medical bills, Meredith’s insurance won’t cover, the Good in the Hood folks are hoping to rally with this fundraiser and gather $30,000 to help Meredith and his family. With the extra funding they hope to cover expensive personal therapy that may allow Meredith to one day walk again.

The carnival tomorrow will include local bands, photo booths, fire dancers, and plentiful food and snacks like hot dogs, pop corn and snow cones. Organizers are recommending a $5 donation.

Come check it out. Tomorrow, Saturday, May 22, 4580 S. 2300 East, starting at 6 p.m.
