AMC's original drama scorecard thus far: Mad Men and Breaking Bad, amazing; Rubicon, sucking. On Halloween night (Sunday, Oct. 31), the net rolls out what looks like another entry in the Amazing column: The Walking Dead. ---

Based on an Image comic book/graphic novel/picture flipper and directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and, or course, The Fly II), The Walking Dead is yet another in a long line of zombie-apocalypse yarns--but when done right, they can still scare the living/dead shit out of you. Going by this trailer, looks like AMC has gotten it pretty damned right:
