The island of Paros lies between better known Greek islands like Mykonos and Santorini. --- However, as it boasts a nice port and is fairly close to the center point of the popular Cycladic island chain, it's a popular stopping and starting point for many travelers to Greece. We are on Paros now, within walking distance of the fishing village of Naoussa, where we just finished a mostly fish dinner.

Highlight: anchovies. Lowlight: Dakos, a traditional serving of tomatoes and cheese on the island of Crete, but served not so greatly where we ate it tonight.

That's it. That's the report. We got up at 5 a.m. to catch the ferry and now it's nearing midnight and everyone is dog tired. Did find time to get some beach time in, though--the beach views are from Kolymbithres, one of the more unique beaches of Greece. The rest of the photos are island scenes and a few pics from this mornings cold ferry ride--we've hit some poor weather.

No matter. Better to be in the rain in Greece than elsewhere.

Oh, and there's one photo with the family name on the side of a building. Came across it by chance near where our family is from ....
