This Saturday, November 20th, Metropolitan restaurant will host a "street party - Metro style" in celebration of the restaurant's 15th anniversary. --- I vividly recall the night Metropolitan opened 15 years ago, with Veuve Clicquot Champagne flowing and Matthias Merges (now Charlie Trotter's chef de cuisine) in charge of the kitchen. It's hard to believe that 15 years has passed so rapidly. During that time, owner Karen Olson and her staff have continued to raise the bar in the realm of contemporary American cuisine in Utah.
According to Olson, the 15th anniversary bash at Metropolitan will include "sexy food, music and much merriment," along with specialty wine pairings and new brew from Epic Brewing.
The party kicks off at 6:30 PM and the cost per person is $45 for food and $45 for the wine and beer pairings, plus tax and 18% gratuity.
