Have you looked around? There's a hell of a lot of snow! Better make any jaunts outside the home worthwhile.---

For me, work is pretty much the only reason I dug myself out of my neighborhood this morning. But some of you might want to consider hitting the Old World Christmas Market down at the Gateway; I remember hitting it at the Gallivan last year and enjoying the grub, as well as the one-stop shopping for presents. It runs through Saturday at the old depot's Grand Hall.

Elsewhere, SLCC Community Writing Center hosts a meeting of Gay Writes DiverseCity Writing Group at 6:30 p.m. at it's downtown locale.

And if you're up Ogden way, consider a stop at Weber State to check out the WSU Guitar Ensemble doing an end-of-semester concert at 7:30 p.m.
