We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you.

Cobra Dogs @ PCMR

If you've ever skiied at Mt. Hood or attended the High Cascade snowboard camp there, you're probably familiar with Cobra Dogs, the food cart which has operated there for six years. --- Today, Cobra Dogs opens at Park City Mountain Resort, at the base of the Eagle Superpipe and Three Kings Terrain Park.

Cobra Dogs features all-natural hot dogs, brats and veggie dogs, including the all-beef Boa, Brattlesnake Brat, Cheddaconda and toppings like Fromunda cheese and Cobra Con Carne Chili. You can also pick up Clif Bars, cookies, brownies, candy and chips at the cart.

“We’ve been looking at different food and beverage opportunities for the pipe and park crowd,” said Deirdra Walsh, food and beverage director for Park City Mountain Resort. “With the addition of night riding to the Three Kings Terrain Park, we found the perfect fit with Cobra Dogs.”

“The energy and support behind Cobra Dogs has been overwhelming,” said Cory Grove, founder of Cobra Dogs. “I’ve been trying to figure out what is next for us and Park City Mountain Resort is a great stepping stone towards the ultimate goal of world domination. No, seriously, I think that Park City gets it and will be able to provide a true Cobra Dogs experience. It’s not only about hot dogs, but it’s also making sure we work with people that support snowboarding and Park City is perfect for that. I’m still blown away at how much they put in to the snowboarding end of things here.”

Cobra Dogs will be open through the ski season at PCMR from 11:00 AM to %uFFFD9:00 PM, daily.%uFFFD
