Doctor Discipline Updates for Dec. 2010

No doctors will be added to the database for December 2010. But in the past decade, 137 doctors have faced discipline in Utah for bad care, drug abuse, sexual abuse of employees and patients and other disciplinary issues.---

New to City Weekly’s doctor discipline database for December of 2010, however, was an amendment to a discipline order for Donald Neal Harline, M.D. of Orem. In September 2010, Harline was given a stipulation order from the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing for engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a female patient.

As per the December 16 amended order, the suspension on Harline's licenses to practice as a physician/surgeon and to administer and prescribe controlled substances was terminated retroactive to December 8, 2010. His licenses were placed on probation for three years subject to the conditions identified in the September 7, 2010 Stipulation and Order.
