Men of a Certain Age (TNT) Season Finale: I’m still not in line with every other TV critic on the planet about Men of a Certain Age, but I will say this: At least Ray Romano took a chance on cable drama instead of hacking out another network sitcom after Everybody Loves Raymond. In MCA’s Season 2 finale, the guys head to Palm Springs to … get colonoscopies? Talk about cable edge.

The Bad Girls Club (Oxygen) Season Premiere: It’s a whole new houseful of unbalanced alcoholic skanks—and they’re back in L.A. after a just-try-and-top-this-shit season in Miami. Breakout starlettes of Season 6? Probably Chicago bad girls Jessica and Char, who seem ready to pick fights drunk or sober—an admirable consistency.
