Anyone else noticed the similarities between Big Love and Californication playing out concurrently this season? Both Bill Henrickson and Hank Moody are facing jail time for sleeping with minors—and both unknowingly. ---Just sayin.’ For dudes who have this much experience with women, they probably shoulda known.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network) Series Finale: The final episode for Duff and the Charm City Cakes crew! Sniff … sigh. Ace of Cakes closes out five years and 10 seasons by making a DeLorean cake for the 25th anniversary of Back to the Future—and yes, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd even make an appearance. Sure, it would have been great if Clutch had also shown up, but you can’t have everything. Farewell, Elena. Oh, and the rest of you cake aces, too.

Parks & Recreation (NBC) Megan Mullally returns as Ron’s (Nick Offerman) insane ex, prompting Tom (Aziz Ansari) to revenge-date her to get back at Ron for dating his ex. Follow all that? And then Ron gets cornrows. See, it’s romantical, just like tonight’s …

30 Rock (NBC) While the couple are vacationing in Canada (?), Avery (Elizabeth Banks) goes into labor and, shockingly, Jack (Alec Baldwin) doesn’t handle it well. Meanwhile, Liz (Tina Fey) and Carol’s (Matt Damon—yes, he’s still around) romantic getaway also goes awry, and Tracy (Tracy Morgan) finally wins that EGOT (Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony). So, Valentine’s Day isn’t completely shot to hell.

Fairly Legal (USA) Sarah Shahi’s debut starring role as a legal mediator began with a whole lotta promise, but Fairly Legal has run a little flat at the mid-point of Season 1. Tonight’s case involving a possibly-stolen BBQ sauce recipe (kinda funny) and violently abusive father (kinda not) is all over the place, and not even Shahi’s considerable charm can reign it in. Fairly Legal does end strong on its final ep in March, but getting there will be tough if the next few are this weak … sauce. Sorry.

Also new tonight:
Wipeout, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice (ABC); The Big Bang Theory, Shit You Shouldn’t Watch, CSI, The Mentalist (CBS); Community, Perfect Couples, The Office, Outsourced (NBC); American Idol, Bones (Fox); The Vampire Diaries, Nikita (The CW); Royal Pains (USA); Jersey Shore (MTV); Archer (FX); Eagleheart (Adult Swim); Conan (TBS)

Preview: Parks & Recreation proves that nothing brings the sexy like jerky …
