This week, we're dedicating the humpday hype to the kids, and the adults who still like to go out and play.---

Every week at the Ogden Nature Center, they celebrate Wild Wednesdays with special programs for kids. Today's starts at 3:30 p.m., and focuses on animals who sleep all winter.

At Tracy Aviary, it's Free Scout Day and all day long anyone wearing a uniform from their scout troop can get in free. You'll definitely want to be there for the special bird show at 4:30 p.m.

The grown-ups out there who are into games might want to drop in on the Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz Wednesday night at Piper Down, or perhaps some tunes are more in order. That's no problem. The incredibly pliable rapper Mr. Lif (pictured) is headlining shows at both Kilby Court and The Urban Lounge Wednesday night. Over at The Depot, Pete Yorn headlines a show that also includes Ben Kweller on the bill. You can read our interview with Pete Yorn before you make any decisions.

And if you're in the mood for a classy evening, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts hosts its chamber music series in which music grad students play in the gallery, inspired by the art. And Westminster College is hosting a free 8 p.m. concert celebrating the launch of the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera's Women's Voices Festival.
