While you all celebrate the beginning of Eastern Orthodox Lent Monday, there are a few options out there for the non-denominational.---

The State Room hosts John Popper and the Duskray Troubadors (pictured), the new project led by the Blues Traveler singer and unmatched harmonica man.

Up in Ogden, the 5th annual Bonneville Chamber Music Festival continues at Weber State University at 7:30 p.m. with Slavic Music: Dvorak.

For the foodies out there, the Viking Cooking School is hosting a spring seasonal cooking class Monday at 6 p.m., an event co-sponsored by Slow Food Utah. Think greens, root veggies and kale for this quarterly opportunity.

And Monday at Westminster College, there's a free poetry workshop at 4:30 hosted by Jill McDonough. Check out the link for further details.
