This just in: FX has picked up both Justified and Archer for third seasons next year. This just in-er: Mad Men Season 5 won’t premiere until … 2012?! AMC must have delusions of HBO or something. ---

What’s new tonight:
Body of Proof (ABC) Series Debut: Dana Delany is Dr. Megan Hunt, a genius neurosurgeon who, after a debilitating car accident, is forced to slum it as a police medical examiner—her hands are only good for working on dead bodies now, even though she still has the ego and social skills of Dr. House. Suddenly, it’s her new mission to become an “advocate for the dead” and tell the stories of the murdered. Delany is good, but she may not be good enough to save a faux-gritty mash-up of Medium and Crossing Jordan (or Quincy M.E., for you older viewers). Still, she owns Body of Proof—it’ll rise or fall totally on her. Throw in Jeri Ryan as her boss, and you’ve even got a little Rizzoli & Isles (or Cagney & Lacey, geezers).

Parenthood (NBC) In an unusually crowded Tuesday at 9, Parenthood is also back tonight. In addition to the usual family drama and hitting of shit upon various fans, Richard Dreyfus guests tonight as an old buddy of Coach, er, Zeek. Insert “gonna need a bigger boat” joke here.

The Good Wife (CBS) Opposite Dana Delany, Jeri Ryan and Lauren Graham, Julianna Margulies returns to crowd tonight at 9 even more—what to watch, cat ladies? Upping the ante, The Good’s Wife’s guest stars tonight are once again America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), and Sam Robards (Gossip Girl) as a murderer who’s making money off of a song he wrote about his victim. So you can buy “Killed Da Beeotch (Rumpshaker Remix)” on iTunes? Good to know.

Also new tonight:
Dancing With the Stars
(ABC); NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS); The Biggest Loser (NBC); Traffic Light (Fox); What Not to Wear, What the Sell (TLC); Lights Out (FX); The Real Housewives of Miami (Bravo); My Life as Liz (MTV); Hardcore Pawn (TruTV); Marcel's Quantum Kitchen (Syfy); Conan (TBS)
