Last night’s new paintball episode of Community, which I doubted could top the original? Genius—and my lust for Annie (Alison Brie) is oh-so reconfirmed. Watch it now on Hulu. ---

What’s new this weekend:
Fringe (Fox, tonight) Season Finale: Read all about it in True TV (Item 2).

Flashpoint (CBS, tonight) Season Premiere: In case you hadn’t noticed, CBS shit-canned Chaos a few weeks ago. It was a show about spies and … yeah, never mind. To replace it, the net welcomes back inexplicable Friday-filler hit Flashpoint, which is a cheaply-acquired Canadian knockoff of SWAT, starring the dad from Veronica Mars (or the photographer from Just Shoot Me, if you like).

Also new tonight:
Shark Tank (ABC); CSI:NY, Blue Bloods (CBS); Kitchen Nightmares (Fox); Smallville, Supernatural (The CW); The Whitest Kids U’Know (IFC); Camelot (Starz); The Soup (E!)

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday) Tina Fey hosts and looks very pregnant, and some singer named Ellie Goulding is the musical guest:

My Cat From Hell (Animal Planet, Saturday) Series Debut: Read all about it in True TV (Item 3).

Almighty Thor (Syfy, Saturday) Cheap-o Movie: Read all about it in True TV (Item 4).

Lady Gaga Presents: The Monster Ball Tour (HBO) The whole concert, recorded at Madison Square Garden and faaabulous.

Also new Saturday:
Chase (NBC); Cops, America’s Most Wanted (Fox); Doctor Who (BBC America)

CSI: Miami (CBS, Sunday) Season Finale: Remember when CSI: Miami was the biggest show on the planet, like Baywatch with a body count? Not so much anymore: Ratings are so off, there’s a possibility that Miami could either be canceled or exiled to Friday nights with NY and maybe even original Vegas flavor (CSI Fridays does have a ring to it). Promos for tonight’s Season 9 finale is making it look like an everybody-might-die cliffhanger; looks like Season 10 is … dead on arrival. Yeeeaaahhh!!!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Adult Swim, Sunday) Season 8 Premiere: Supposedly, ATHF has been renamed Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1, and Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad will return to their original crime-solving focus of the first episode 10 years ago (!) that was quickly abandoned in favor of random, bizarro hijinx (which pretty defines Adult Swim to this day). Whatever—at least they got a catchy new theme song (by Queens of the Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures’ Josh Homme) out of it:

Josh Homme & Alain Johannes - "Aqua Unit Patrol Squad One Theme" by 1077 The End

Also new Sunday:
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters (ABC); The Amazing Race (CBS); Celebrity Apprentice (NBC); American Dad, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show (Fox); Shark Men (NatGeo); The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo); Breakout Kings (A&E); The Killing (AMC); Law & Order: Criminal Intent, In Plain Sight (USA); Game of Thrones (HBO); The Borgias (Showtime)

Preview: Is the CSI: Miami team done for? And who the hell are the Black Veil Brides?
