Free flicks, another Les Mis and some fine rock & roll on tap Wednesday.---

You can't beat the price of the City Weekly Street Team's event tonight at Brewvies--it's free, suckas! And what do you get? The '80s classic Valley Girl, featuring a young Nic Cage (complete with chest hair shaved into a "punk-rock" V-shape) and the "where is she now?" leading lady Deborah Foreman. Great tunes, ridiculous dialogue and a fine Romeo & Juliet plotline--the flick starts at 8 p.m., so get there early to make sure you get a seat.

It seems like Les Miserables was just here, doesn't it? That's because it was. The popular musical is in what radio-heads call "heavy rotation" in Utah, arriving in one form or another every year or two. This touring production is sure to be a fine one, again, and Wednesday is opening night for the short run at Capitol Theatre.

For music with a little more aggression, a trip to the Bar Deluxe could do you right, for the show featuring Fail to Follow and Racist Kramer. And the aggro power-trio from Iowa, Radio Moscow (pictured), headlines a gig that is sure to be one to remember at The Urban Lounge, joined by local garage-rockers Spell Talk and Max Pain and the Groovies.
