Not a hell of a lot happening on TV right now—but plenty of good (and not-so-good) stuff is coming: Check out the big-ass True TV Summer TV ’11 list. ---

What’s new tonight:
Childrens Hospital (Adult Swim) In the second episode of the new season of Thursday night’s best doctor show (suck it, Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice), both Sarah Silverman and Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation—Ron Swanson!) guest, almost topping last week’s surprise Jon Hamm appearance. Oh, and Blake (Rob Corddry) kills a few kids through the not-at-all healing power of laughter.

Love Bites (NBC) Will KSL 5 air the second ep of what has to be network TV’s new Filthiest Show? If they do, you’ll see guest stars Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kurtwood Smith (That ‘70s Show), Francis Conroy (Six Feet Under), Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) making dick jokes. Or you’ll see a Matlock rerun.

South Park (Comedy Central) Summer Finale: This actually premiered last night; tonight is a repeat of the summer-finale episode “You’re Getting Old,” simultaneously the most shit-filled (literally) and most heart-tugging half-hour South Park has produced over 15 seasons. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll question your taste in everything—except Rob Schneider movies; that should remain unchanged. Hell, just watch the whole “You’re Getting Old” episode of South Park right now.

Also new tonight:
So You Think You Can Dance (Fox); NYC Ink (TLC); The Real Housewives of New York City (Bravo); Jackass 3.5: Unrated (MTV); Mounted In Alaska (History)
