LGBT free legal clinic tonight



Tonight low-income LGBT Utahns can get free legal advice at the Rainbow Legal Clinic, first come, first served.---

While statewide efforts to expand non-discrimination protection to all Utahns based on sexual orientation and sex identity have been pushed back another year, LGBT Utahns still struggle with complex legal issues ranging from employment and housing discrimination to estate planning and family law concerns.

As part of its twice-monthly free clinic the Utah Pride Center in conjunction with the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law Pro Bono Initiative and the OutLaws allows low-income LGBT Utahns to hear free legal advice. Participants are encouraged to bring all pertinent documentation to their case to assist volunteer staff understand their issues.

Check it out:  Thursday, June 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Utah Aids Foundation at 1408 S. 1100 East. The clinic meets every second Thursday of the month.
