Lounge Act Wednesday: Sondre Lerche and assorted authors

Let's take a look around the valley and find some fun, mmmkay?---

We'll start at Liquid Joe's, where the usual Wednesday night full of local fare is abetted this week with Joe Jordan's Experiment, a Philly rock crew featuring a wicked lead guitarist/singer (that would be Joe Jordan), and his mama kickin' it on the drums (that would be Jacqui “MahDoox” Gore).

The Urban Lounge hosts Sondre Lerche, pictured, the Norwegian-born, Brooklyn-based songwriter currently touring in support of his solid new self-titled set.

And for the more bookish readers out there, particularly of the children's book variety, Dean Hale will be at The King's English at 5 p.m. reading from his new tome Scapegoat: The Story of a Goat Named Oat and a Chewed-up Coat. Pack up the kids and make your way there early for a good spot.  And at Ken Sanders Rare Books, Cassie Sneider will be on hand at 7 p.m. for a reading and signing of her new book, Fine, Fine Music.
