Adele rescheduled, more tix available and Wanda Jackson added

The Adele concert originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend at The Depot has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 21, at Gallivan Center.---

The move means considerably less intimacy for those hoping to see the British soul singer in the cozy confines of the 1,200-capacity Depot, while giving those who weren't quick enough on the draw to get tix to that gig another chance. The Gallivan Center will reportedly hold about 5,000 for concerts when its reconstruction is done.

Those with tickets to the original show can use them for the Gallivan Center concert. Additional tickets will go on sale Friday, July 8, at 10 a.m. via Smith's Tix outlets.

An opening act has been added, too, in the form of rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson, who blew away a State Room audience earlier this year.
