Back in January, the relatively unknown Civil Wars came to town a couple weeks before their debut album dropped, and found a rapturous audience at The State Room.---

Six months later, the mesmerizing duo isn't unknown anymore, thanks to several high-profile TV appearances, a hot album with Barton Hollow and a lot of great word-of-mouth—undoubtedly some of it from the folks in attendance at that January show. Will it be as good the second time around? We'll have to see. The Civil Wars (pictured) headline a sold-out show at The State Room Tuesday night, and there will surely be tix available on the Web or the street before showtime at 8 p.m.

The excellent Music @ Main concert series at the SLC main library continues Tuesday night with Birthquake! and Red Bennies doing the honors at 7 p.m.
