The bold and the beautiful, the daring and the daunting, all get a voice this weekend, Aug. 26-28, for Salt Lake Acting Company’s second annual Fearless Fringe Festival.---

In an effort to continually develop emerging plays and local playwrights while simultaneously delving into non-mainstream topics, SLAC brings the festival back with Little Happy Secrets and Do Not Hit Golf Balls Into Mexico on the bill.

Joining the podcast today, we have SLAC managing director Keven Myhre to talk about the festival and the importance of fringe art, along with playwright Mel Larson and two actresses starring in Little Happy Secrets—Emily Bell and Emily Burnworth (pictured above)—to talk about that play and to read a scene.
