The low-income advocates of Crossroads-Urban Center are holding a wine-and-cheese benefit party Sunday to toast the compassion of supporters looking to help out some of Utah’s most vulnerable.---
Since 1966, the do-gooders of the Crossroads-Urban Center have been advocating and working to protect disadvantaged Utahns, be they chronically homeless or working-class families hit hard by the economy. Now you can help support their work at this weekend’s benefit party.
For a minimum $45 donation, you can come enjoy fine wine, gourmet cheeses, breads and fresh fruit, accompanied by the tunes of Controlled Burn, and raise a glass to doing the right thing for those helping those who need help the most.
Check it out, Sunday, Sept. 17, 1-4 p.m. at the Bayou, 645 S. State. For more information and to buy tickets call 801-364-7765.
