If you want to rage in September, better do it quickly. Here are some options for Thursday.---

The artistically inclined can check out the new Looped show at Salt Lake Art Center, a video installation that this time around is based on the theme of endurance. Pictured here, it runs through Nov. 3. And Thursday at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at 6 p.m., it's Palette to Palate: Art & Wine, an event that will educate you on both California vino and some special selections from the museum's permanent collection.

Polar Bear Club is a New York City punk band of the straightforward, Social D persuasion, and they're headlining at Kilby Court Thursday night.

At the Rose Wagner, you can enjoy a screening of The River Why, and star Kathleen Quinlan will be there, to benefit The Nature Conservancy of Utah. Fly-fishing enthusiasts won't want to miss this. It starts at 7 p.m.
