No need for Tuesday to be a blues day when you have so many worthy options at your disposal. Check out some tips from City Weekly's exhaustive event listings.---

Hip-hop rules at Liquid Joe's for a rare Tuesday show at the round bar. 2Mex, Mine Us, DJ Hoppa, Pat Maine, GeorgeLife and Bolander are joining forces for what is sure to be a great time, starting at 9 p.m.

Get into the Halloween mood a little more with some rockin' rockabilly courtesy of the Coffin Cats, headlining Burt's Tiki Lounge Tuesday night. Jack's Mannequin headlines a gig at In the Venue that also includes The Academy Is and Lady Danville on the bill. And over at The State Room, the lilting sounds of Katie Herzig and Butterfly Boucher will fill the air. The Urban Lounge, meanwhile, hosts early '90s alt-rock faves The Lemonheads (pictured); here's hoping the show is a little better attended than the band's stop at the Depot a few years back. Dando and Co. will be playing their It's a Shame About Ray album in its entiretly.

Theater lovers will want to consider a trip to the Rose Wagner for a new production of Menopause The Musical, a return engagement after the show found a large audience during its 2009 SLC run.%uFFFD
