Wine Wednesday: Dalla Terra @ Bambara

Next Tuesday, Nov.15, Bambara restaurant in the Hotel Monaco will host an informal food and wine soiree featuring wines from Dalla Terra Winery Direct and the cuisine of chef Nathan Powers. --- 

Based in Napa, Calif., Dalla Terra is a direct importer of a limited selection of fine Italian wines. The company represents a number of wineries, including Ajello, Aia Vecchia, Boroli, Cassanova di Neri, La Valentina, Avignonesi,  Li Veli, Marco Felluga, Saracco, and others. 

Dawn Gaudini of Dalla Terra will be on hand to discuss the wines at next Tuesday's wine soiree and tasting, which will feature the following wines:

Adami Bosco di Gica Prosecco NV

Alois Lageder, Alto Adige, Pinot Bianco 2010

Inama, Soave, Collio Berici, Carmenere Piu 2008

Fattoria Selvapiana, "Bucherchiale" Chianti Rufina Reserva DOCG 1999

In addition, "I will prepare small bites to best complement each wine selection," said Nathan Powers. "Based on each wine's flavor profile, I'm going to have a little fun with the ingredients!"

The event will cost $15 per person for the wine selections and $5 for the small-plate pairings and will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
